Mais souhaiter la mort de son tyran est au contraire une disposition d\u2019esprit salutaire pour un peuple. En effet, bien que non \u00e9crit le droit d\u2019insurrection est un droit, pourtant inali\u00e9nable des peuples. La r\u00e9volte contre la tyrannie est la plus glorieuse des actions dont ceux-ci puissent s\u2019honorer, et bien entendu, cela va de soi, celle-ci commence presque toujours par la haine du Tyran et des tortionnaires \u00e0 son service. C\u2019est pourquoi. Tous les g\u00e9missements de ceux-ci, leurs protestations au nom de \u00ab la libert\u00e9 \u00bbde la d\u00e9mocratie, ou de je ne sais quel humanisme qu\u2019ils ne revendiquent que pour eux-m\u00eames et les tortionnaires \u00e0 leurs service, ne sauraient-infl\u00e9chir le c\u0153ur du peuple. Celui qui abuse du pouvoir, qui confisque les libert\u00e9s, qui bouscule sans \u00e9tats d\u2019\u00e2me un grand nombre de ces concitoyens dans l\u2019indigence ou la mis\u00e8re, qui r\u00e9prime l\u2019expression populaire et mutile ses semblables, ne saurait revendiquer, ni l \u00bbamour du peuple ni sa cl\u00e9mence.
